Good Idea!

Every day we use any amount of things that make life easier for us - light-bulbs and TV sets, bicycles and telephones, refrigerators and computers. All these things have at one time been invented by someone. Some of these inventions happened by pure chance, others are the result of years of trial and error. Alexander Steffensmeier has assembled a number of stories about mankind’s most important inventions and about the men and women who made them. Accompanying his texts with illustrations that are both funny and informative he brings to life the likes of Gutenberg, Edison, Daimler, Bell and others. A reader’s and browser’s delight, for science freaks and aficionados of all things technical alike!
